St. John's is especially car friendly. It is a reasonably short drive to the closest highway from any location in this city, and it is very easy to access a place to park. On the other hand, the public transit system in St. John's is not very practical. It is difficult for pedestrians to move around in St. John's since very few daily errands can be run without having to resort to a car.
